Building was designed by architect Mihail Prozorov and was built in year 1897- 1898. Building has a unique neo-gothic architecture, typical of that time churches style. Authentic façades and design of windows and doors, solid masonry walls, interior décor details and a patio make this building unique. Building is included in the Lithuanian register of heritage and cultural values.
The building boasts an outstanding historical value of the most famous theatre hall – Vaidilos theatre, which has been reopened after renovation at the end of 2015 and has already hosted more than 150 events (concerts, performances, conferences and private parties).
